Route description
Coming from E17 Antwerpen-Ghent-Kortrijk:
Take exit Ghent/Kortrijk and then exit "Ghent Centrum"
Follow the sign "alle richtingen/B401" (not "Gent Centrum"!)
At the traffic lights you go to the left , direction Tielt, Deinze, Oudenaarde,
Eeklo (go and get in the left-hand lane immediately);
Now you are on the ring round Ghent (=B401), follow the road (St.-Lievenslaan,
Citdellaan,
Charles de Kerchovelaan) direction Eeklo (Not Oudenaarde or St.-Pietersstation),
pass two traffic lights and continue direction Eeklo (careful: ignore the sign
for Ghent Centrum at the second traffic light).
(Now you just passed the Citadelpark on your left). Continue at the third traffic
light (Kortrijksepoortstraat) and turn right at the fourth traffic light (Louis
Pasteurslaan). Take this cobblestone street, mind the right of way when you pass
the street on your right (J.Kluyskensstraat) and continue ahead till you reach
the canal (Coupure links).
Turn to the right and cross the bridge on your left. Now you are on Coupure Rechts.
Turn to the left and continue. The building on the corner of the third street
on your right (Lieven de Winnestraat) is the Coupure Centre. (It is a large white
building consisting of two apartment blocks with lattice balconies). The entrance
is a gate between the two blocks.
